You can list tickets for sale on SeatGeek's Marketplace by visiting the Tickets tab on our website or app and then selecting "Sell" at the top of the screen. You can list most tickets that are available in your SeatGeek account, and if they sell, your tickets will automatically appear in the buyer's account, so you don't have to worry about sending them yourself. Additionally, you will be notified by email if your tickets are sold!
We currently support payouts to United States residents with United States bank accounts and Canadian sellers with Canadian bank accounts (excluding US territories). In some cases, select United States and Canadian bank accounts may not be supported. Learn more here.
Note:
Listing tickets for some events may require you to include specific information and/or take specific steps. If you're listing your NFL Tickets on SeatGeek, we suggest that you check here! If you're listing MLB Tickets and purchased your tickets on SeatGeek, follow the instructions below. If you purchased your tickets elsewhere, here's all the info you'll need!
1. Open the SeatGeek app.
2. Tap Tickets in the navigation bar at the bottom.
4. Tap Sell and select the events you'd like to sell for.
5. Set the number of tickets that you want to sell, how they're split, and your desired payout method (U.S. bank account, Canadian bank account, or team credit for some eligible teams). Then tap Continue.
6. You will be asked to set your price for each listing. We recommend a price based on current and historical listing data, but you don't have to use our recommendation and can usually set whatever price you want! Some events may require that tickets have a minimum price when they are listed for sale, but don't worry. If that's the case for your event and you try setting the price of your tickets too low, you will receive a message letting you know the minimum listing amount.
7. Finally, you'll see a summary of your listings. Here you can review your listings and add the price you originally paid for your tickets. This is a legal requirement in NY state and is used for sales tax calculations in other states*.
*If you do not enter the price you originally paid, SeatGeek has to charge sales tax on the full price of the ticket, but if you do enter it here, we only have to charge sales tax on the difference between what you originally paid and your listing price.
8. You can edit or delist your listings by tapping Edit or Delist at any time before the event begins.
Note:
The SeatGeek Marketplace only accepts PDF tickets, screenshots of mobile tickets, MLB mobile barcodes, some college event mobile tickets, and NFL mobile barcodes at this time. For more information about the kinds of tickets you sell on the SeatGeek Marketplace, click here.1. Open the SeatGeek app.

How do I edit my listing or take it off the SeatGeek Marketplace?
If you’d like to adjust the price on your SeatGeek Marketplace listing, you can visit the Tickets tab on our website and view the ticket details for the listing you’d like to modify. Update your listing with the desired price, how they’re split, the quantity, in the designated fields.
In order to take your tickets off the SeatGeek Marketplace, visit the Tickets tab on our website and view the details for the ticket that you would like to delist. Once on the ticket detail view, click the Delist Tickets button in the history section. You will be prompted to confirm your deactivation, once you agree, your tickets will be off the SeatGeek Marketplace!
My tickets come with special access or inclusions. How do I add those to the listing info?
SeatGeek does not currently support the individual addition of notes on our fan to fan marketplace; however, for eligible venues and events, SeatGeek receives additional ticket information called Seat Perks (examples include promotional perks, special club or suite access, included concessions...etc) from the venue directly, and will display those Seat Perks on all eligible listings automatically. As you go through the process of listing your tickets, you'll see the Seat Perks that will be noted on your listing.
Where is my listing? I listed my tickets, but I cannot see them on SeatGeek.
If your tickets are located in a section or parking lot that is considered “general admission”, please keep in mind that our Marketplace will prioritize the lowest priced listings. If your general admission ticket listing is priced at a higher price point compared to other listings, your listing will be put in a queue. Your listing will then appear once it is listed at a lower price compared to the current resale marketplace, or if the other lower priced tickets have already sold.
If your tickets are not considered “General Admission” and you are still unable to see your listing, please contact SeatGeek support to further review.
How long will it take to get paid after selling tickets?
We will send your payout within 48 hours after the event ends (as long as you have added and verified your payout method) and it will take up to 5 business days for the money to appear in your bank account.
Do you charge a seller fee?
You can upload and list your tickets for free on SeatGeek. If you sell that ticket, we do collect a small fee of 10%. This is to keep our platform healthy and running. When you type in the price for which you want to sell your ticket, you’ll be paid whatever that price was, minus 10%.
The image below shows what you will see prior to listing your tickets for sale. If you look here, you will see the exact amount you will be paid out.
Note:
If you’re a Season Ticket Holder or Primary Seat License Owner for one of SeatGeek’s partner teams click here.
What kind of tickets can I sell on the SeatGeek Marketplace?
You can upload the PDF of an e-ticket from a venue or vendor, as well as a screenshot of Valid QR codes for mobile tickets.
Examples of acceptable tickets are pictured below:
Physical tickets, third-party electronic tickets which auto-update (often called "rotating barcodes"), or tickets that are not yet in your possession cannot be sold on the SeatGeek Marketplace at this time. If your tickets were delivered via third party (a platform other than SeatGeek), you may have the *option to resell your tickets there.
*Because the SeatGeek Marketplace is driven by supply and demand, and because SeatGeek is unable to influence event policies, we cannot guarantee that any given ticket will be eligible for resale on our Marketplace nor any other. We also cannot guarantee that any given ticket will sell once listed on the SeatGeek Marketplace nor any other. Check out our Supplemental Seller terms here for more info
Can I sell wristband tickets on SeatGeek?
SeatGeek does not currently support the individual resale of wristband-style tickets, nor any other form of non-electronic tickets (such as hardstock/paper tickets, giftcard tickets, lanyard passes...etc)
