- Reside in the USA or Canada
- Add a payout method (bank account within your country of residence)
- Provide basic personal information (name, address, date of birth)
- Provide a Social Security Number (SSN) or EIN for tax reporting (if your listing is for more than $2500)
This information is required to verify your identity and send your payment securely. Your address and bank account must be within the same country.
What information is required to sell tickets?
To list tickets and receive funds for listings that sell, you will be asked to provide:
- Full legal name
- Address
- Date of birth
- Phone number
- SSN (individual) or EIN (business)
- Bank account details (payout method)

When you need to provide this information depends on the sale price of your listing:
Listings under $2500 USD:

Why does SeatGeek require this information?
This information is required to:

Will I ever be asked for additional documents?
In some cases, you may be asked to provide additional verification, such as:

Selling as a business
If you’re selling tickets on behalf of a business:
- Select “Business” when setting up your payout method
- Provide:
- Business name and address

Additional requirements for Canadian sellers
Canadian regulations may require:
