What happens if my event is postponed?

If your event is postponed, marked TBD, or rescheduled, your tickets will most likely be valid for the new date. SeatGeek will reach out to you with the new event date once it is set. If the venue requires new tickets for the new date, SeatGeek, or SeatGeek's sellers, will provide you with new tickets of equivalent or higher value*.

If you're unable to attend a rescheduled event, you can resell your tickets on the SeatGeek Marketplace! You can find more information on how to do that here.

Due to the complexities of live events, and because your tickets will be valid for entry, SeatGeek and our sellers are unable to offer refunds for postponed, TBD, or rescheduled events unless state laws directly stipulate otherwise.

If your event is officially canceled, check out this article instead.

*Usually, new tickets are required if the event location has changed from the original venue to a new one. Depending on the new venue, new tickets may not be in the same location as your original tickets, but SeatGeek will work to get you as close to the same experience (view, value, level...etc) as possible.
