Can I change, cancel, or get a refund for my tickets after an order is placed?

Since SeatGeek is a marketplace that lets fans of live events buy and sell tickets, we're unable to refund, cancel, or exchange tickets and we are not able to increase or decrease the amount of tickets ordered. The vendors that we list also have a general policy that all sales are final. If your event is canceled and not rescheduled, SeatGeek, in its sole discretion, will provide you with a full refund of the purchase price (refunded to the original payment method you used at checkout) or, subject to applicable state laws, issue you a credit for use on a future purchase.

If you can’t use the tickets (or don’t want them anymore), it’s easy to re-list them on the SeatGeek Marketplace. Check out the videos below to see how, or click here for more information.

Android iOS Web

1. Open the SeatGeek app.

2. Tap Tickets in the navigation bar at the bottom.

3. Select the ticket group you'd like to sell.

4. Tap Sell on the ticket group and set the number of tickets that you want to sell and how they're split.

5. Set your price or use our recommended price and tap List tickets.

  • You can edit or delist your listings by tapping Edit or Delist at any time before the event begins.

Note:

The SeatGeek Marketplace can only accept electronic PDF tickets or screenshots of mobile tickets at this time. For more information about the kinds of tickets that you can sell on the SeatGeek Marketplace, click here.

What if my event was postponed or rescheduled?

If an event is postponed, your tickets will most likely be valid for the new date, although this will depend on the venue’s policy. SeatGeek and our sellers are unable to offer refunds for rescheduled events unless the event is canceled outright by the artist, team, or venue, or State law directly stipulates otherwise.

What if one of the performers doesn't show or the concert lineup changes?

Live events are always subject to changes and external factors. SeatGeek and our sellers are unable to offer refunds for changes in lineups, performers, or time changes.

What if my event was canceled?

If your event was officially canceled for any reason by the venue or event promoter, SeatGeek will reach out to you with options for your refund.

Why are all sales final?

Primary and secondary ticket markets are complex, and most ticket orders can’t be canceled or refunded once they’ve been submitted to ensure the validity of the tickets you’re purchasing.

What if my tickets said they were returnable?

Some tickets on SeatGeek are eligible for SeatGeek Swaps! Tickets that are eligible to be returned using the SeatGeek Swaps offer will have a “Return” button next to the “Send” and “Sell” buttons in the “My Tickets” section of your SeatGeek account. If your order is not eligible, you will only see the “Send” and “Sell” buttons. If you no longer wish to use tickets that are not eligible to be returned, you can still re-list them for sale on SeatGeek! For more info on SeatGeek Swaps, check out this article.

What happens if my tickets don't sell?

If your tickets don’t sell, then you’re free to take them off the market and use them or send them to a friend using our Send feature! Click here to learn how to send tickets on SeatGeek.

What if I decline a mobile transfer?

Declining a mobile transfer will not cancel your order. If you decline a mobile transfer, please contact us by scrolling down and tapping Contact Support while viewing your order in the SeatGeek app. Click here to see how.
