How to send tickets to your buyer

If your tickets require a transfer, you’ll need to send them to the buyer after they sell.

The steps depend on how your tickets were delivered.


Before you start

  • Check your email from SeatGeek for transfer instructions
  • Have your tickets ready in the original ticket provider (like Ticketmaster or AXS)
  • Make sure you send the tickets before the delivery deadline

Sending mobile transfer tickets (Ticketmaster, AXS, etc.)

Most tickets that require action are sent through the original ticket provider.

  1. Log in to the account where your tickets are stored (e.g., Ticketmaster or AXS)
  2. Select the event and choose the tickets you sold
  3. Tap or click Transfer
  4. Enter the buyer’s email address exactly as provided by SeatGeek
  5. Complete the transfer through the provider

After sending the tickets, return to SeatGeek and follow the instructions to confirm the transfer.


Sending other ticket types

Some tickets may require a different method, such as uploading files or completing a manual transfer.

If your tickets use a different delivery method, follow the instructions provided in your sale confirmation email.


Important:

Do not contact the buyer directly. Only use their information to send the tickets through the correct transfer method.


After you send your tickets

  • Confirm the transfer in SeatGeek if prompted
  • Keep your transfer confirmation email as proof

You can track the status of your sale in your Listings.
