SeatGeek Live Activities are real-time notifications on iPhone that appear on your iOS device to help you access your tickets and event information quickly on event day. Live Activities are available if you are using an iPhone running iOS 18 or later, have the SeatGeek app installed, and are signed in to your SeatGeek account.
On the day of your event, SeatGeek may display a Live Activity on your iPhone. This allows you to quickly see helpful event information without opening the app. If you are signed in with the same Apple ID on different devices - like an Apple Watch or Carplay - Live Activities may appear on those devices as well.
From the Live Activity, you can:
- View your event tickets
- View your seat location info
- Get directions to the venue
- Share a photo of your view from your seat
- And more!
How to enable SeatGeek Live Activities
The first time you receive a SeatGeek Live Activity notification, your iPhone will ask if you want to allow Live Activities for the SeatGeek app. Select Allow to keep the Live Activity and enable updates.
After you allow Live Activities once, future events will automatically show Live Activity updates on your iPhone when they are available. You may disable Live Activities at any time in your iPhone settings.
When do Live Activities disappear?
SeatGeek automatically removes the Live Activity shortly after the event ends.
You can also dismiss it manually at any time.
To manually dismiss a Live Activity
- Swipe left on the Live Activity.
- Tap Clear.
What happens if I dismiss a Live Activity?
If you dismiss the first Live Activity notification for an event, you will not receive additional Live Activity updates for that event. Dismissing a Live Activity for one event will not stop Live Activities for future events.
If you prefer to not receive Live Activities for future events, you can turn them off for SeatGeek in your iPhone settings.
How to turn SeatGeek Live Activities on or off
You can enable or disable Live Activities for SeatGeek at any time from your iPhone settings.
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap Apps.
- Select SeatGeek.
- Toggle Live Activities on or off.
