Some college football teams deliver tickets using mobile transfer, rather than placing tickets directly in your SeatGeek account.
With this delivery method, tickets are provided through an email or text message containing a link. After accessing the link, tickets must be displayed from your mobile device—often through Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, depending on the team.
This article explains how to access college football tickets delivered by mobile transfer. Not all college football tickets use this method, and delivery requirements can vary by team and venue.
Important
Many college football tickets delivered by text must be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet to be used for entry.
We recommend accessing and saving your tickets as soon as you receive the transfer notification.
How do I access my college football tickets?
- Check your email inbox or text messages for a message containing your ticket access link. Be sure to check spam, junk, promotions, or “unknown senders” folders if you don’t see it right away.
- Open the message and tap the link to view your tickets.
- If prompted, log in or create an account using the email address used for your SeatGeek order.
- If you see an option to add your tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, follow the prompts and complete the process by tapping Done.
- On game day, present your tickets directly from your mobile device. Do not print screenshots or paper copies.
I haven’t received my tickets yet
It’s normal for college football tickets delivered by mobile transfer to become available closer to game day.
Venues often generate ticket barcodes shortly before the event. Once the seller receives the tickets from the venue, they’ll be delivered to you.
Can I use the SeatGeek app for these tickets?
Some college football tickets purchased on SeatGeek may also appear in your SeatGeek account, depending on the team and delivery setup.
However, if your tickets are delivered by mobile transfer and added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, you should present them from your Wallet for entry.
