The format and entry method for each set of tickets is decided at the sole discretion of the venue. This means SeatGeek cannot change the delivery format.
That said, ticket formats will always be displayed or clarified on the ticket listings page or at checkout. Some events may have multiple ticket formats. If you prefer one format over another, you can filter ticket listings to show only e-tickets or check multiple listings for different methods of entry.
Ticket formats are as follows:
Instant Download
Instant Downloads are e-tickets that are delivered directly to your SeatGeek account. Most are available just minutes after you purchase them. For more information, click here.
Mobile Transfer
Mobile transfers are tickets that are delivered via an email or link from a third-party app (often venue or team-specific platforms) and need to be presented from the third-party's app or mobile website with an Android device or iPhone. For more information, click here.
AXS or AXS Transfer
AXS is a platform used by many venues to house and send their tickets. Much like Mobile Transfers, these will be sent via an email with a link to accept your tickets. For more information, click here.
Physical or Hard Stock tickets
Hard-stock tickets are physical, paper tickets that will be shipped to you via UPS or FedEx. For more information, click here.
Local Pick-up
Local Pick-Up tickets are physical tickets that need to be picked up in person. These include tickets that are left for you at will call or tickets that need to be picked up from a representative for the seller. Local Pick-Up tickets are very rare but for more information, click here.
