Why can't I sign in with Facebook anymore?

As of April 2020, SeatGeek no longer supports signing up with or logging in with Facebook. To ensure that your account is protected and that you are able to log in, you will have to confirm your account details and add a password. You may have already received an email prompting you to do so, or you will be able to confirm your details in the app or website the next time you go to log in.

If you’re logged out of your account, follow the steps below to confirm your SeatGeek account details and log in:

Confirming your SeatGeek account in the Android app
  1. Navigate to the Me tab and tap Sign up or log in.
  2. Tap Log in
  3. Tap Used to log in with Facebook? 
  4. Sign into your Facebook account. 
  5. Confirm or change the email address associated with your SeatGeek account. We recommend changing your email address if your Facebook account uses an old or outdated email address.
  6. Enter a password.
  7. Confirm your email address is correct in both fields and click Complete.
  8. Log in with your email address and new password if you aren’t automatically logged in.
Confirming your SeatGeek account in the iOS app
  1. Navigate to the Me tab and tap Sign up or Log in.
  2. Tap Log in
  3. Tap Used to log in with Facebook?
  4. Sign into your Facebook account. 
  5. Confirm or change the email address associated with your SeatGeek  account. We recommend changing your email address if your Facebook account uses an old or outdated email address.
  6. Enter a password.
  7. Confirm your email address is correct in both fields and click Complete.
  8. Log in with your email address and new password if you aren’t automatically logged in.
Confirming your SeatGeek account on the desktop website
  1. Navigate to the login screen by hitting Log In on the navigation bar.
  2. Click Used to log in with Facebook? 
  3. Sign into your Facebook account. 
  4. Confirm or change the email address associated with your SeatGeek account. We recommend changing your email address if your Facebook account uses an old or outdated email address.
  5. Enter a password.
  6. Confirm your email address is correct in both fields and click Complete. 
Confirming your SeatGeek account on the mobile website
  1. Navigate to the login screen by tapping Sign In on the Mobile Website navigation bar. 
  2. Tap Used to log in with Facebook? 
  3. Sign into your Facebook account.
  4. Confirm or change the email address associated with your SeatGeek account. We suggest changing your email address if your Facebook account uses an old or outdated email address.
  5. Enter a password.
  6. Confirm your email address is correct in both fields and tap Complete.
