Your tickets will be delivered to you in one of a few different formats. If you don't know what format your ticket will be in, don't worry! When you are selecting a listing to buy, you will see the format in the “Notes” section.
If you have already made your purchase, you can check your confirmation e-mail for the format of the ticket. You should always be sure to look at your ticket prior to leaving for an event to make sure you are aware of how your tickets will be delivered.
Electronic Tickets or E-Tickets
Your tickets will be delivered to you electronically with this format, most likely as a traditional PDF ticket. Usually, electronic tickets are delivered directly to your SeatGeek account.
Note: Keep in mind that “electronic” and “e-ticket” mean that the tickets will be delivered to you by email, and don’t necessarily mean the ticket will be valid for mobile entry.
You will want to look at your ticket prior to leaving for the event to determine if it requires printing or if its valid for mobile entry. You can check this by opening up the SeatGeek app from your smartphone or desktop computer and looking at your tickets in the "My Tickets" section. The app will tell you if you need to print your tickets or if you need to show them from your smartphone.
Tickets that are listed as instant delivery means these are e-tickets that do not have a delayed release and will be delivered within a few minutes to your SeatGeek account.
Mobile Transfer Tickets and Mobile QR codes
Some venues prefer to use paperless tickets or mobile transfers for entry because it’s a more secure delivery method than traditional PDF print-at-home tickets. Mobile transfer tickets can also be referred to as a "Mobile QR code".
Note: These kinds of tickets will be delivered outside of SeatGeek within the venue’s or team’s preferred ticketing platform.
- Mobile transfer tickets can’t leave the platform on which they were created, so you’ll be required to set up an account with a third party to have access to them.
- Mobile transfer tickets also won’t be printable, and they’ll need to be scanned from a mobile device to be valid for entry.

Hardstock Tickets, Shipping, Local Pickup
The ticketing industry is moving away from hardstock tickets, so this will be a less common format of fulfillment. However, if your tickets are listed as hardstock here are the few different ways you could receive them!
Your tickets will be mailed to you usually via UPS or FedEx. A tracking number will be e-mailed to you. Please use this to keep an eye on the movement of your delivery and if you feel there may be an issue with your delivery, please contact us so we can investigate prior to the event. Once you receive your hardstock tickets you will use these to enter the event.
Note: Please ensure that the shipping address you provide is accurate and up to date to avoid delays in shipment. If you need to update your shipping address, please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
These tickets will be available at the venue’s Will Call window under the name provided on the order. Make sure to bring your ID.
Note: If you need to change the name of the person picking up the tickets, please contact us by emailing email@example.com with your order number.
LPU / Local Pickup
You will be contacted by the seller prior to the event to arrange a pickup location near the venue where you can get your tickets.
The seller will get in touch with you beforehand to arrange a time and place to meet. The representative will then meet you at the venue and walk you into the event.
GC / Gift Card
You will be sent a prepaid gift card which is linked to your tickets. Use it to enter the event.
