How are my tickets delivered?

While most tickets on SeatGeek are uploaded to your account, it's possible to receive your tickets via another delivery method. Once your order is confirmed it's backed by our Buyer Guarantee, so you're certain to receive your tickets in time for the event. In order to keep your tickets safe, most venues make tickets available within 48 hours of the event. 

While browsing listings, you'll see the delivery method in the Notes section. If you've already made your purchase, you can check your confirmation e-mail or the Tickets section of your SeatGeek account to see how your tickets will be delivered. 

E-Tickets

E-TIckets are traditional PDF tickets that are delivered directly to your SeatGeek account. Some venues require tickets to be printed while others allow mobile entry via the SeatGeek app, for more information click here

Instant delivery

Tickets listed as Instant Delivery means are e-tickets that do not have a delayed-release and will be delivered within a few minutes to your SeatGeek account.

Mobile transfers and Flash Seats

Some venues prefer to use paperless tickets or mobile transfers for entry because it’s a more secure delivery method than traditional PDF print-at-home tickets. Mobile transfer tickets can also be referred to as a mobile QR code, which is uploaded to your SeatGeek account.

Note:

Mobile transfer tickets will be delivered outside of SeatGeek within the venue’s or team’s preferred ticketing platform within 48 hours of the event.

  • Mobile transfer tickets can’t leave the platform on which they were created, so you’ll be required to set up an account with a third party to have access to them.
  • Mobile transfer tickets also won’t be printable, and they’ll need to be scanned from a mobile device to be valid for entry.

Shipped tickets, will-call, and local pickup

The ticketing industry is moving away from shipped tickets, so this will be a less common format of fulfillment. However, if your tickets are listed as shipped here are the few different ways you could receive them!

Shipped tickets and wristbands

Your tickets will be mailed to you usually via UPS or FedEx. A tracking number will be e-mailed to you for you to keep an eye on the status of your delivery. We suggest checking the areas near your front door (bushes, mailbox areas, etc) for your tickets or to check with a neighbor.

Wristbands for festivals and shipped tickets are delivered within three business days of the event. Do not put on your wristband before the event.

Please ensure that the shipping address you provide is accurate and up to date to avoid delays in shipment. If you need to update your shipping address or have an issue with your shipment, please contact us

Will-call

These tickets will be available at the venue’s Will Call window under the name provided on the order. Make sure to bring your ID.

Note:

If you need to change the name of the person picking up the tickets, please contact us with your order number.

LPU / Local pickup

You will be contacted by the seller prior to the event to arrange a pickup location near the venue where you can get your tickets. For more information about local pickup tickets, click here.

Venue walk-in

The seller will get in touch with you beforehand to arrange a time and place to meet. The representative will then meet you at the venue and walk you into the event.

GC / Gift card

You will be sent a prepaid gift card that is linked to your tickets and can be used to enter the event.
