How does ADA seating work at the Walter Kerr Theatre for Hadestown?
  • The Walter Kerr Theatre provides accessible seating on the Orchestral Level of the theatre and provides  services and amenities for guests with special needs. To purchase ADA seats, select the ADA filter on the event page when using the SeatGeek mobile app or online at SeatGeek.com.
  • All accessible seats are located on the Orchestra level of the theatre. Mezzanine seats are located on the second level: up 36 stairs from the Orchestra. The Balcony is located on the third level; up an additional 14 stairs. Walter Kerr Theatre does not have an elevator, but all staircases have handrails.
What time do doors open at the Walter Kerr Theatre for Hadestown?

Walter Kerr Theatre will open approximately 45 minutes before showtime. Please arrive early and leave plenty of time for security screening. Security screening includes walk-through metal detectors and bag inspections. Firearms or weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited inside the theatre regardless of any licenses or permits.

The Walter Kerr Theatre offers D-Scriptive devices for the blind, I-Caption devices for the deaf, infrared headsets to enhance sound and dialogue, and audio induction neck loops for those who have a “T” switch on their hearing aid or cochlear implant. If an assistive device would help you enjoy the show, please visit the headset booth in Orchestra left. There is no charge, but a valid photo ID is required as a deposit.
