Yes and no! Due to the Walter Kerr Theatre’s location, right in the bustling streets of New York, there is no onsite parking next to the building, however, there are many parking lots and available spaces nearby. Book a spot at ParkWhiz.com in advance if you know you are driving to the theatre.

• The Walter Kerr Theatre provides accessible seating on the Orchestral Level of the theatre and provides  services and amenities for guests with special needs. To purchase ADA seats, select the ADA filter on the event page when using the SeatGeek mobile app or online at SeatGeek.com.
• All accessible seats are located on the Orchestra level of the theatre. Mezzanine seats are located on the second level: up 36 stairs from the Orchestra. The Balcony is located on the third level; up an additional 14 stairs. Walter Kerr Theatre does not have an elevator, but all staircases have handrails.

Walter Kerr Theatre will open approximately 45 minutes before showtime. Please arrive early and leave plenty of time for security screening. Security screening includes walk-through metal detectors and bag inspections. Firearms or weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited inside the theatre regardless of any licenses or permits.

Two hours and 25 minutes including one 15 minute intermission

Merchandise will be available for purchase on the Orchestra level starting 45 minutes before curtain, during intermission, and directly after the show.

Hadestown is recommended for ages 8 and up. Feel free to choose what is suitable for your family, however, children under 4 will not be admitted, and everyone requires a ticket for entry.

It is up to you! Depending on your preference, some theatre-goers like to get dressed up, while others may choose a more comfortable outfit. The theatre is kept cool year-round though, so we encourage patrons to bring a sweater or light jacket.

There is no coat check at the theatre, but if you have a large bag to check, you can speak to a member of the staff when you arrive.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted, but feel free to stop by the theatre bar for snacks and drinks provided by the venue. The bars are located in the back of the Orchestra and Mezzanine levels.

The Walter Kerr Theatre offers D-Scriptive devices for the blind, I-Caption devices for the deaf, infrared headsets to enhance sound and dialogue, and audio induction neck loops for those who have a “T” switch on their hearing aid or cochlear implant.
